Autism Society of Greater Orlando
ASGO is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization; a source of information and support to families of children and adults with autism. They offer social opportunities for individuals with autism to be included in the community. They believe that all children and adults with autism are their own unique person and should be treated as such.
Autism Art is a new program developed by the Autism Society of Greater Orlando to give adults with autism a meaningful day program that allows them to express themselves through art. The individuals with autism will create pieces and will then display them in a gallery, at art shows, etc.
Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida
DSACF is a non-profit organization committed to offering hope, acceptance, and empowerment to all individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Through our countless ongoing programs, events, and resources for both members and non-members alike, we're building a loving Central Florida community of awareness through advocacy and education.
Altamonte Springs Special Needs Recreation, in partnership with the Advisory Board for the Disabled, Inc., provides social and recreational activities at a minimal cost to individuals with mental or physical disabilities, ages 13 and up in Altamonte Springs and surrounding communities.
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Lift Disability Network understands disability, including the fatigue and isolation families sometimes experience. So we want to give you a Boost! Boost is a monthly event for individuals and families impacted by disability. You can expect food, crazy activities and times of inspiration. Everything gets kicked off with a free meal, and at the end of the night we all go home with our lives elevated. That’s why it is called Boost!
The Family Café exists to provide individuals with disabilities and their families with an opportunity for collaboration, advocacy, friendship and empowerment by serving as a facilitator of communication, a space for dialogue and a source of information.
